We are so excited to start Light Up Main Street!

In groups, your team will be creating a business and business plan, creating your building storefront, and making street lights for your store. All of these things will be built over a few short weeks through all of your classes. Your STEM Journal will act as the hub for your group's ideas and plans, and this blog will be where you can find instructions and your business plan outlines.

The Next Step is for you to figure out what you NEED for each item you are selling. Are you selling food? You will need the INGREDIENTS.
​
EX. I will be selling Pumpkin Pie
I will need a can of pumpkin, condensed milk, flour, sugar, butter, eggs, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and PAM spray.
​
I will then look at the websites below and identify the COST of EACH ITEM in my STEM Journal to keep track of all my start-up costs.
​
If you are a service with items that aren't edible, you will need to identify each item you need to buy.
​
EX: Oil Change
What kind of oil? What is the cost of it? Something to catch the old oil in? Gloves? Jumpsuit?
